Christmas Plans

So what are we all doing for X-mas? I am taking the wife to Key West for Christmas week while the inlaws watch the kids in Panama city for us....Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!! We are taking our mountain bikes and plan to explore the island and maybe do some Pub Crawling. I guess my diet will be put on hold for the week.
So....what are your plans?

Wife's folks are spending Xmas eve night at my house, then we celebrate with them Xmas morning (breakfast will be served). After they clear out, we clean house, pack up the car, and head to my folks house, and celebrate with them, my sister, and her husband. Dinner and drinks, music and gifts. A good time will be had by all...

Wifes job keeps us pretty mobile. She is a H.R. Manager for a International Manufactoring Company. In the past 10 years we have lived in MD, TX, TN, AZ, PA, NC and now back to TN. We liked TX in general.....just not Sherman/Dennison.

I love it. I love the different experiences and learning different customs and ways of life. But now that the kids are getting older it wont be quite so easy to just pick up and move. With that said.......we are working on getting a short term International assignment now. Cross your fingers for us

I really liked the Phoenix area. Nice weather, great roads, beautiful lakes and a low cost of living. So I will have to say the Apache Junction area of AZ.
What more can you say

I'll be in Las Vegas. For a reason I really can't understand, some female members of the extended family decided they wanted to spend Christmas there, and so we all gotta go. Good thing is, I'll be skiing at Mt Bachelor around New Year's, so that really makes up for it

My city was settled under a variation of it's current name in 43AD according to popular history although there is a degree of debate around this matter. Either way it looks like I've pipped you at the post by a mere 1600 years. As for my town, Peckham, it became an area identifiable under its current name during Saxon rule.

This year I'll be taking part in the Southwark Cyclists Christmas Day Ride.

I'm heading down to San Diego and maybe Vegas with long-time friends. I was originally planning on Houston to visit relatives, but staying local seems better this year.
