I know I'll be in the minority on this....but I think the guy is hysterical!! I saw him in concert once in college and was still laughing hours after it was over.

Gilbert is so annoyingly obnoxious, he's hysterical. It's his shtick and he's fantastic.

The only thing more annoying than GG are some of the local automobile commercials here in NE Ohio.

On second thought...it's a coin flip.

He's definitely unique.

I was also shocked when I found out he was the voice of the Aflac duck. I don't know why but I would never have figured that out on my own.

No offense to ye who like him, but I thought this poll would be about whether we'd rather see him boiled in oil, or drawn and quartered.

Uh, boiled in oil, please.

How about par-boil, then drawn and quartered? Just so everyone is satisfied...

My wife hates him and doesn't know why he gets any run at all, I personally think he's funny. She told me "Nobody likes him, he's annoying!" I said "Lot's of people like him, otherwise he wouldn't be famous."

I voted funny, but I don't think I could take too much...say, more than an hour or so at a time.

Somebody must be snowed-in! I always thought his stand up act was pretty funny, and I swear, that guy gets all kind of work on the side, as well.

His commercials are annoying and not funny, but I saw one of his stand up shows on Comedy Central and it was great.

I don't really blame him for the annoying commercials. He's just getting paid.

OK, sorry. I voted "Who is...?"

So I looked him up.

Yes, I think he's funny, as long as he's in a small role. I don't think I could take his schtick for an hour, though.

Same with Steven Wright. A very funny guy, but anything more than 15 minutes of his act is too much for me!

I saw him in concert once too........funniest hour or so I ever sat through. You've got to REALLY be into dry humor to like that stuff for more than a while. There were a couple of times that me and the buddy of mine that I went with were the only two people out of the 10,000 person auditorium that were laughing.

I think he's hillarious !

I would take one Godfried skit over 10 Belushi skits.
