Foo to be renamed 'Insomnia Forum'

lol, I had some films to watch and now my DVD player is broke

so I'm jacked up on 4 liters of Mt. Dew (and still goin'), and seriously bored

seems like Foo is the only forum still going

do most of the folks here work evenings? night owls? I know it's busier during the day, but it's still pretty busy and my clock says 3:45am

For me its that my dogs usually wake me up "once" during the night....I jump on for a few minutes while my boys are out back "taking care of business".

damn, I was just thinking I should start a thread "Why aren't you people sleeping?!"

I'm a night owl and on vacation, so no reason to wake up at 6am tomorrow --> not tired enough to go to bed on time

where are you at, Ziggurat?

I've been an insomniac as far back as I can remember. It's a good 2 or 3 nights a week I don't sleep at all, but I'm used to it. The internet is made for insomniacs and substance abusers, anyway.

st. louis, mini-vacation this week

it's fun having a bunch of freetime, but I'm being COMPLETELY unproductive

I had a cassette taken off a wheel at lbs (no tools) and went to the video store, besides that I have been basically horizontal all day

--I had insomnia when I was younger, but lately I have been sleeping too much

I need to motivate myself to start riding a stationary bike, or get some outdoor clothes

no bike = bad mood, tired, sleep too much

Can't sleep. My mind is always working. Thinking of work. Thinking of riding. Too late, too cold, too dangerous (you don't outside when the sun ain't up) to ride. I want to ride tomorrow. Thinking about that.

Wow - Ziggurat, we have some pretty similar tastes in films

I would have replied at 3am, but I was watching Onmyoji... I wasn't too impressed, and ended up having to watch the english language version because the subtitles were kind of glowing...

I'll have to check that out - my NetFlix queue is actually empty at the moment, because I haven't had the time to search for good stuff to order. I'm sure that all the movies I've been downloading doesn't help with that at all.

Two quick ones you should check out Lain and Noir. They're both TV anime series, really good. Noir is a lot longer...

I'd like to see what it's like to sleep a full 8 hours. My body clock wakes me up at 5:30 no matter what time I go to bed.

Why is that, by the way? Anybody know?

Probably the way that your melatonin cycle is set. It has to do with what time during the day you are exposed to sunlight and darkness.
