I've seen tons of threads of people posting pics of their rides around their area....my turn.

This is the trail right by my house....it's a short trip (about 17 miles), but the only thing I have time to do on my weekday rides (before or after work). This is the East-West trail here in Clearwater, FL (taken last week).

Enjoy.

Are those recent pictures?
If so, your lucky. Any bodies of water here are frozen over, and all the trees have no leaves

Actually, a ride or two before I got the camera at Christmas, there was a small gator lying right smack dab across the trail. I had to stop and get close enough to scare him out of my way and back in to the water.

Cool. All I've ever seen is a rattle snake, and some deer.

That blue sky sure looks good to me right now KT, it's been raining here for a few weeks. I dash out on the bike every time it stops for a few hours, this is the time to enjoy FL!!

The Titusville/Hopewell area would produce decent pictures, but yeah, Ewing is awful.

I took them on 12/30/2005. It was the last ride of the year. I ended up with 2009 miles (since March 12th). I was very happy with my first year on a road bike.

That's exactly what I WANTED to happen....I hoped others would post a few pics from their rides and we'd have a modest little collection.

When I bike upstate(NY) around lake george, that are soo many deer. I am actually quite scared of the deer. Now I have been told there probably more afraid of me,but, what if I scare him right into my path?
Hmmmm, 150lbs rider on a 17 lbs bike=167lbs traveling at aprox. 26mph colliding with an animal wieghing approx. 1500 lbs=very, very, very bad news for me and my soccer/cycling/lax career. I try to avoid them.

Clearwater? I have a house in bonita springs, near naples fort myers area. Play alot of tennis when im down there, and alot of cycling.
