How's about substituting "triple sec?" with Bacardi 151?

You can substitute Drano if you really want to.

1-shot Bailey's Irish Creme
1-slice lime

Squeeze lime into Bailey's, mix quickly until thickened to consistency of cooked oatmeal, gulp down quickly. AKA "Concrete Mixer"

That is sure a simpler recipe than mine Danno. will have to try that. I made them like this....

1 oz Licor 43® liqueur
1/2 oz white rum
1 oz sweet and sour mix
1/4 oz Rose's® lime juice
1/2 oz half-and-half

What is this mixing of ingredients? I know nothing of this custom. The most complicated drink I make for myself is a Martini; shake gin with ice, pour into glass.

Sorry, got the names mixed up. Yours is a different drink than mine. Too many drink combinations, not enough words to describe them.

Too little, too late, but I like to sub Grand Marnier for triple sec...in small quantities, of course.

Ok, one more bit of advice to add to this very important thread: Do not play kings with screwdrivers or tequilla sunrises. Man I felt like crap this morning...and this afternoon.
