I did try it before I posted! What, you think I can't read? Well, I can't read aussie. Aussies have accents.

And how do you know they can distinguish accents? They just think you can't pronounce properly.

Where do you come up with this? Have you ever passed a cattle farm? Oh, you import your beef.

Allergies are to animal dander, not fur.

we do not! we're a rival beef exporter!

sperm whales have been credited with the greatest diving capacity of all sea mammals. it's success is due to the "oil" that resides in the upper cavities of their skulls, which varies in density as it freezes and melts as blood is pumped out of and to the cavity respectively.

    BINGO!!!

Funkychicken- You don't need a picture, I'll explain. Get a full glass of water and drink the whole thing without stopping. BUT, you don't drink it from the rim of the glass closest to your face, you drink it from the opposite side... so when you're holding the glass, not the rim where your thumb is, but where your index finger is. In order to do this you have to bend at the waist way down so your head is basically upside down.

    Cheers! - RJ

Then you must be a sperm whale because all that fat in your head is messing with your brain and having you make up things.

I knew it back when you posted on the "What is does your avatar mean" thread but I figured you called it lettuce for a reason.....

^^^You're scary. Very few people I know have such good random memory recollection. I like having the upper hand in that category, and I usually do, but I'm not sure that's the case with you.

I call it a "lettuce" because for whatever reason, Napa in my mind is a lettuce. I'm not sure why.

    Now as for trivia...

The human eye is most sensitive to green (then red, then blue). That's why at the same 5W power level, a green laser pointer appears so much brighter than a red one.

Does that also explain why your eyes get green in some photos? Oh, wait. Sometimes it red......

Ahem....On a police car, the blue on the wig wag light (yes, that's the real name) is much brighter......(which is why they use it)

My favorite trivia question. . . Everyone knows that Enola Gay was the B-29 on the Hiroshima atomic mission. What was the name of the plane on the Nagasaki mission?

Recalled it from a (maybe it was discovery channel or something) show that I was watching on the building of the 777 back when they unvieled it. My father flew the 737 for SWA for a lot of years so I'm very fimilar with that aircraft and about fell over in my chair when they said that. I think they even had a guy standing in the 777's cowling with his hands over his head and he still wasn't able to hit the top. Let me see if I can do any googling to confirm.

Update - found it. There were several sites that stated the comparison, but this one looks the most legit. http://www.aerospaceweb.org/aircraft/jetliner/b777/ they say "nearly as wide" but they probably mean within a couple inches.

"America's" Cup yacht racing. It is even more expensive than polo or power boat racing.

Cycling became an Oylmpic sport in 1898, since then France has 73 medals, including 32 gold ... Italy has 54 medals ... Great Britain has 46
