Yup, it's almost noon, and the temperature outside is only 59F/15C.

Sorry, just had to mess with you...

OMG!!! -30 Celsius?! That's like...what...912 degrees below in Fahrenheit? One more reason not to move to Saskatchewan...

Not to brag, but it is 54 degrees Fahrenheit in my corner of Massachusetts right now. I just got back from a ride around the neighborhood a few minutes ago. The foot and a half of snow we got 5 days ago is almost completely melted away. Not bad for February!

^^^Yup, highs were in the mid 80s last weekend. Admittedly, that's a bit warmer than usual for this time of year.

Not quite as bad as you have it, but still a little chilly.

Ouch, -30C is pretty damn cold without the wind chill on top. It seems that this arctic front is moving SW. They're forecasting -8C tomorrow here in Portland which is colder than normal.

supposed to be -36 tonight. My car is really not happy with this. Just pushing in the clutch feels like im doing leg presses.

Plus, possibly the coldest day of the year, on my birthday

I was thinking of walking to all the pubs... not a chance anymore..

I think the walk home afterwards would be the iffy part. Imagine passing out in a snowbank, and not being found til spring.

its no joke over here, people have lost fingers/hands etc. from doing that. It happens a lot of small town folk. I wasnt going to get overly pissed or anything, just a few nice bday drinks with family/friends, but even the pubs a few blocks from my house arent walkable. Nostrils freeze together, eyelids freeze shut, this place sucks big time..

Wow, that is pretty cold. People around here are getting antsy because it's supposed to be 19 F tonight (like -7C, if my head is working right at the moment).

I was walking around outside in short sleaves thinking what a wonderful warm day it was, then I noticed the ice along the sidewalk...weird how perceptions work.
