I've found that this is essential to accomplishing just about anything since I am quite disorganized, and a procrastinator. This thread reminded me that I need to go work out, tho. Thanks for that, explody!

I was just trying to get these guys out of their slump....I hate so many blue people around!

Nope, I sat down with my manuscript from last year and started editing it. but then life got in the way, went to CA for a couple of weeks, talked myself out of editing the darn thing, rode my bike, cleaned my kitchen floor....what ever I could do to not look at it. My internal critic is very persuasive! I think I just need to start working on it and quit coming up with excuses!!! augh!

You talking to me? It was fun tonight. Some night laughs with fellow grad students and prospective students. Much more fun than running reactions. I'll be missing the party tomorrow night, though. I'll explain in the other thread.

High school senior portrait. Fall 1996. I basically look the same now, though. A bit more gray hairs, but they'd be retouched out of the pic anyway for important pics.

I'm heavily make-up'd in my picture, courtesy of mom and sisters. Make-up is essential under strong lighting, which tends to wash out all contrast. And strong lighting is essential to use ultra-low speed, high resolution film with reasonably short exposure times.

By the way, the "whatcha doin'" thread has two other pics of me posted if you're interested. One's a repeat from the sig test thread.

It's post 706, near the very end of the thread. Glad to hear skiing banana is staying around for a while.

Good to hear. Hope you're feeling better after your ride.

Don't worry, my apartment's quite a mess right now, too.

I got a nice ride in, had to stop by a bike shop to fill my tires as I realized my front tire was running low after i got onto the road. Ran into a hottie at the bike shop Why must all these bike shops have hotties. Then i went tearing through the hills that we call stone oak parkway and ended up on US-281 without realizing it. Its funny to land on a major highway with tons of traffic and you're all wondering where the heck this highway came from, and then you start recognizing buildings a few minutes later.

Did 23 miles at 17.81 which is suprising considering all of the hills and the fact that i wouldn't let myself gun going down the hills sine at the bottom of each hill would be a freaking stop light. In fact I think my highest speed of 38 miles was done on rather flat ground
