This happened about a few months ago. I use to come downstairs at night to get a drink, and I look at the clock and it is 9:11pm. Im like oh ok its gettin late... The next day i come down for something and its 9:11 again. Well this began to happen at different intervals like 10:11 or 7:11,8:11...
So the last few weeks about 95% of the time i look at the clock after a long period of time, which i hardley ever do, I notice its always on the X:11pm/am mark I swear ive notice this happen for like 15 times in the last month or two.

And just for today. Lets see on my lunch break today i said i had two quizzes. Lex is nice and says good luck...and at what time?...."02-24-06, 12:11 PM."

Hm later today i look twice in like 4 hours. One at 5:11pm and bam again at 6:11.pm Im like ook.

and just 20 mintues ago. I am on my bed watching tv while my sis is on the comp. I say "hey what time is it" Shes like 10:11. Im like wtf lol. 2 minutes later i turn to the news and what do you know 10:11 also. (which means my computer's clock was 2 minutes behind).

So i remember my mom telling me a story that like when she went out with my dad, she noticed that a lot of times when she went out at night she checked the time and for like a few days stright it was always -11:11 pm. So she got the double 11 and i got the X:11. Its funny cause 11 is my favorite # and my baseball number back in 3rd grade.

Weird huh?

It's a sign. Really. Have you ever eaten Napa at x:11? Or worn a tux at x:11? Or studied chemistry at x:11? If you answered "yes" to any of the above, then 9:11 PM over and over can only mean one thing, EJ123. Get around to PM'ing jschen about delivering a Porsche 911 (GT3 preferred, but I'm not picky) to him already! I'll be waiting.

Every single nite, I glance at the clock at 11:11. Not just every now and then, but every nite. Sometimes in the morning if I am around a digital clock, I glance at it at 11:11, too. It is a freaky feeling!

My son thinks that I glance at the clock a lot and just happen to notice it more when it says 11:11. Who knows?

Hmmm. I think you have elevenitis - a tragic malady with an undetermined cause and no known cure. Check the times on all the posts in this thread.

btw - the computer clock is two minutes fast.

a freind of mine had the same thing going for him in a way. only when he'd look at the time of ask for the time, it would be 11:34. and if you lok at it upsidedown on a digital clock is spells hell. curious things happen.

Most television networks start a show at the top of the hour. Do the intro segment then go to commerical at 10 min after the hour. That puts you downstairs at 11 after the hour.

More seriously, that is a strange coincidence.

Why don't you test this strange phenomena out by going to a bakery and ordering a baker's dozen and see if you get 11.
