    The official 2006 Baseball thread!

It's a little late to get a thread started, but better late than never! I am really excited for the season this year-I am a huge Twins fan, but I can't wait to see how Clevland does this season. If their pitching comes around, they are going to be an incredible team.
I am also really curious to see how Felix Hernandez does-The next Dwight Gooden is what we are hearing, so let's hope they don't burn his arm out like Dwight's.
I'd love to hear what teams you guys root for, and just shoot the baseball breeze!

Semi-die-hard Red Sox fan here. It looks like the Sox have shored up their bullpen and strengthened the starting rotation. They also made a great decision in letting Edgar Renteria go, maybe there'll be a few less errors at SS this year. Actually, they've revamped the entire infield, which needed to happen. They also kept Manny (for the moment), and David Ortiz, so the hitting will continue.

Oh, and I have to add...Johnny Who? Coco Crisp in center now, meaning more speed, better arm, and not much loss in the lead-off spot, if any.
