Nothing really confuses me, but everyday my expectations of what a reasonable person would be, get lowered just a little bit.

Actually I got confused skiing down a mountain during a snow storm, I lost track of sky vs the ground....that through me for a loop until I got my bearings.

be careful with this. it's the fastest path toward being an angry bitter old person. my GF's grandmother is about to die and seriously everyone, including herself, can't wait. the problem with expectations are that they can get out of wack pretty quickly and the only person left disappointed is yourself. expectations are like baggage, best to check them at the door.

That would only be if I cared for people enough to make it worth my while. Luckily I have friends that understand respect from both ends and don't play games and cry when it suits them. Last thing I would ever be is bitter...old maybe...but not bitter ...

back on topic...I'm confused as to why I can drink a half dozen cans of Mt. Dew and feel no effects, but after a third of a can of Monster energy drink, my heart is racing and I've got the jitters

"I'm hungry" = I'm hungry. [A better translation is "Cook something for me".]
[Note: Occasionally, it can mean "Can I take you out to dinner?" See below.]
"I'm sleepy" = I'm sleepy. [A better translation is "It's bedtime".]
"I'm tired" = I'm tired. [A better translation is "It's bedtime".]
[Note regarding "It's bedtime": See "I love you".]
"Do you want to go to a movie?" = I'd eventually like to have sex with you.
"Can I take you out to dinner?" = I'd eventually like to have sex with you.
"Can I call you sometime?" = I'd eventually like to have sex with you.
"May I have this dance?" = I'd eventually like to have sex with you.
"I'm bored." = Do you want to have sex?
"I love you." = Let's have sex now.
"I love you, too." = Okay, I said it... we'd better have sex now!

Some more translations to help members of both gender out can be found here.

You are SO bad, Jschen! So you didn't post this due to lack of nooky nooky? I mean, it's a 3 hour drive to and fro!

And you know none of us believed that "jeans" story either. But we all just went along......
