How many Native Americans are on Bike Forums?

I got two:

1. Stacey.

A touch?

How much is that?

I'm full-blooded Ojibwa, by the way.

I think you have to be more than a quarter to get status in Canada.

People THINK I am because of my user name. But to be completely honest, I'm not. I'm born here so I'm a native of America?

when i lived in Ireland i thought all Native Americans (i have to admit i called them by another name back then) lived in Tippee's and had pow-wow's every day and wore the traditional clothes every day etc. I was pretty suprised on my first day of school in canada to see Native Americans/Canadians dressed in jeans, t-shirts, and baseball hats and such. They had a pretty good laugh when i asked some of them in my irish accent if they lived in Tippee's.

Im as white as they get, poweder white. Pictures from my turf burn thread will show what i mean.

Native Americans walked over the land bridge connecting Upper Mongolia (Asia) to Alaska. My parents flew here from Asia. Does that make me Native American? Or does that make Native Americans Asian?

My great great great great grandmother is Cherokee. I've never had any real connection with the culture, but I've always thought of myself as part Cherokee. As a child I always wanted to be an Indian when we played cowboys and Indians. The story about the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving sounded to me like a tragedy, since I was conscious of the unstated fact that the Indian communities were subsequently destroyed. It's a thin thread the joins me to Native Americans, but it has made a difference in my life.

That's NOT a tail and I doubt it's prehensile! Unless of course you can swing from trees with it... but then we need pictures!

I was born here, does that count? We have been here, in NC, since 1774 when the English forced us out of Scotland.
I may have a touch of Cherokee on my Dads side.

Slightly off topic but I was wondering: would someone from the Asian part of Russia b considered 'asian', and what about someone from India? I don't think I've ever heard someone from India referring to themsleves as 'asian'.

Like most people from the South, I've got some Cherokee. My great-great grandmother was full-blood.

Both a very small portions, but I have two types of Native American in my blood.

Omaha from my grandmother's (mother's side) side.
Algonquin from my grandfather's (mother's side) side.
