What do you like on your pizza? where do you get it from?

We get our pizza from viva italiano in pacifica, ca

I love- pepperoni, mushrooms, and feta cheese. All meat we get- bacon, salami, and sausage.

Finally, a pizza thread!

My favorite pizza is a basic all meat pie....

At my local pub, they have an Irish pizza. It took me a while to try it out. It has Sliced Potato, Breakfast Bacon, Spinach, Mozza, and Pesto Sauce. Add a bunch of parmesan, and its amazing! Danngit, im getting real hungry now...

edit: Mushrooms and Pineapple do not belong on a pizza. The pizza gods get angry when that happens...

I was just at a meeting at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego, California a couple of weeks ago. We splurged on room service and got the big pizza and 4 beer special (at a very reasonable price for room service, I might add!). We ordered sausage and pepperoni and it came quickly (we were right around the corner from the on-site restaurant where they make it) and piping hot, so hot we had to let it cool to eat. My husband is a pizza fanatic and would eat it 7 days a week if he could, so we average pizza pretty frequently. The room service pizza was one of the best I have had in years. Good sausage and pepperoni, the crust was tasty, a good balance of cheese to sauce, and the cheese! The cheese!--it tasted like they used whole-milk mozzarella on it, it was so creamy and rich and good. D**n that was good pizza. . . I wish we could get it up here

My favorite is a plain old extra cheese. I get my fix from Between Us Deli in my hometown, and Athens Pizza in Waltham, MA.

When I worked in a pizza delivery shop, we would make all kinds of bizarre pies when business was slow (which was often). One of my favorites at the time was a breakfast pizza--sauce replaced with scrambled eggs, topped with cheddar cheese, ham, sausage, and bacon.

Are you freaking kidding me? mushrooms naturally work great on a pizza. I can't even believe you would say such a thing!! Whereas I totally agree that pineapple should never be put on a pizza.

Funny, I love mushrooms on pizza, but hate pineapple.

Heres the weird thing. I always hated mushrooms and I never used to get them on my pizza. I would pick them off. At viva italiano, they have a very mild flavor. They don't taste like dirt, or very earthy like most mushrooms. So I guess I would say only at viva do I get mushrooms.

Same thing with green peppers, I hate them on frozen supreme pizzas from safeway, and I hate them on all the other pizza places supreme pizzas I've tried. At viva though, they are amazing. Slighty sweet, not overcooked so they have some crunch. Not mushy, mhhhhhm perfect.

I like zebra with extra cheese, but it's dangerous to try to get one by yourself. Pepperoni will do in a pinch, pepperonis can't kick worth a darn.

And NO mushrooms, I do NOT want fungi on my pizza!

Oh, and thank you VERY much for kickstarting my pizza cravings

Pizza YUCK!

(Yes I deliver them for this little pizza company, maybe you have heard of them... PIZZA HUT)

Actually when I want a really good pizza - chicken (grilled), mushroom, onion, bell pepper and extra cheese...

Or just lots of pepperoni... and no anchovies... but cheese in the crust is nice!

oh, my goodness! I had the BEST pizza Friday night! I was at this fru-fru place in town and they had fru-fru pizza (I was a bit skeptical): flank steak, spinach, mozzarella on this thin, crispy crust.....and it was sooo tasty (I was pleasantly suprised)! Even the die-hard New Yorker with us was impressed.

I usually make my own pizza using one of those premade crusts. I found the ones from pizza places to be far too greasy. My favorite toppings are canadian bacon(Yves veggie), mushrooms, bell pepper, onion with pineapple. I can't imagine eating a pizza without pineapple.

Heh if you go as far as to make your own pizza why not make your own crust too. A bit extra time but oh so worht it. And you can change the crust up in many ways.

My brother used to make the best pizzas - we'd hit his house for pizzas then go to the $2 movies a couple blocks away. It was pretty awesome. He made this sushi pizza one time with sprouts and tuna and wasabi...

I think I need to stop at Pizza Luce for a slice on the way into work today...

Don't know what you've got against pizza, but making your own crust is definitely the way to go. I do a whole wheat crust with spinach, garlic, and roasted tomatoes. Awesome stuff. There's also a place on Washington called Candelari's that does great Italian sausage pizzas.

T-Birds Pizza, on N Santa Cruz Av in Los Gatos is the best.

If you are a meat lover its the Tequila, if you are vegetarian try the Peppermint twist
I really like the LaBomba with its refried beans, cheese, red onions, chorizo, ground beef, sour cream, black olives and jalapenos.

I went through a period where that was all I ate and now the thought of it makes me nauseous. Jalapeno crust

I was always really hesitant to try pineapple on a pizza but once I did, man, that was the tipping point. Every pizza I have now has to have pineapple on it. I've gotten so many people to go from "Eww, Gross!" to "Holy S***, that really good!" To all the pineapple haters, have you actually tried it? It is suprisingly good (imo and many others too).
