Turned in notice today...

Last day at this job: May 31st.

Period of massive insanity trying to move and find a place to rent and a place to store my stuff and sell my house and pack my stuff and get my son into a new school and then buy a house after this one finally sells and move into that new house and oh yeah start the new job and get settled in and hopefully buy a new bike for commuting if moving doesn't bankrupt me: Now through July

Aaaaauuuuuuuuuughhhhhhhhhhh! <head explodes>

I'm looking forward to being in the new city/job/etc though. It's just the in-between that's driving me nuts.

Good luck, Eggplant! Sounds horribly hectic but exciting.

Philadelphia. Where I won't be the only bicycle commuter anymore!

Hectic is definitely the word for it. In fact, just for a lark, I called MAFC... they're one of those companies that advertises "We'll buy any house right away". If they give me a decent offer I might just do that... it would certainly simplify things.

Yikes! Sounds like a headache but hopefully you'll be much happier at your new job!

Congrats and good luck! Make a big fat list and just take it one at a time. And start planning on attending the Lancaster PA Covered Bridges Metric NOW. There will be a BF contingent there, and I'm really considering making the trip....
