Yea.... I get tired of sigs and avatars every couple of weeks. I was looking for mtb pics, then I decided to make an animated gif for my sig.

That's a lot of bandwidth to be sucking down. Since it's remotely hosted it should hurt Joe, but I'd be suprised if whoever you have it hosted with doesn't have a complaint about it soon. Each person that views a thread with your posts is going to download it, so the host delivers it that many times. That's a lot of bandwidth...

Don't get me wrong...it's cool, but it's a lot of bandwidth.

Go to someplace like www.1and1.com and pay $3 a month for 250GB of bandwidth.

It's people like you that makes me turn off signatures. Just about the most useless forum feature.

It's people like you that allow me to use my favorite phrase, "Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it you freaking whiner".

If you have broadband, then imagine if *I* had a 200MB signature file. And you had to wait 10 minutes for my 200MB sig to download, any time you tried to read a thread that I'd posted in. That's what your 2.5MB sig is doing to dial-up users.

Do unto others... yeah
