Look at all those garages to store bikes in. That area of NY is typically very cold in the winter, late fall and early spring. Otherwise its a great place to go biking.

Actually, so long as he doesn't do anything weird (like grow drugs or sell weapons or found a religion hostile to the gov't), the US seems to be pretty tolerant of people declaring independence within its borders. Mostly, they just get ignored...
