Stupid spellings

I'm not the perfect person when it comes to spelling. But some things just irk me.

Like the correction fluid, "Wite Out". How annoying is that? On a bottle of CORRECTION FLUID, for gosh sakes! I went through the entire case of it at the police station and fixed it. I whited out the Wite Out and spelled it correctly with a sharpie.

Everyone who saw the bottles laughed. They knew it was me. But I denied it.

I can't believe you made me laugh at 5:26 in the morning, but you did. Thank you.

The sharpie correction is priceless!

Siu... no Wite Out on the screen. The extra 'e' and 'd' vs 't' are probably just typos... let 'em be.

Really though, a name that sounds that wrong is not improved by ommiting a letter to sound cute.

Alum-a-Lub......again with the frickin "e"....just do it....do it f-----er....give me the pen, i'll f---in do it for you!!!! (/obscure ICP reference)

Obviously you don't need to spell properly to succeed in this world.

What about colour, honour, cheque...man everyone just converts them so they are spelled phoeneticly. Sheesh I am actually surprised honour isn't spelled more often like onher or onur...would make more sense

It's all about the trademark.

"White Out" can not be a registered trademark.

"Wite Out" is.

As are may other corporate mispellings.

Just the same, we appreciate your diligence towards correct spelling!

Another one: Ortho WeedBGon. What are they thinking?! Clearly, the W and the G should be lower-case.

<chuckle> I missed that fine point in the original post. I guess I was blindsided by the fact that the poster included a link to WeedBGone.

Salute to mEcHbgON!
