I will never work for a union. And Unions wont ever acecpt people like me. They hate people like me. But that's okay I hate people like them and the principles they stand for.

As a mechanical engineer working with hydraulics, the only union I need is an AN 815!

There *are* engineer unions. Now, on the other hand, if you think you need one...

Unions and ownership are just two sides fighting for power. Abuses on both sides. And the world is a better place thanks to both.

I'm considered "management." I have a salary and benefits, but no set hours and no overtime pay at the ConglomoCorp telco that provides my wages.

We have lots of union folks, too.

I consider myself a "Union of One." I can strike, but I strike alone and I don't have a whole lot of leverage beyond my vast knowledge of whatever it is they have me working on. Though they all know I am indispensible and just the unspoken threat of me striking provides me with ever more benefits and higher salaries and bonuses each year!

Power to the People (Me, that is!)
