How to make yourself tired.

I went to bed at 2:30 am last night. Got up at 10:30 am this morning, So I slept for 8 hours. If I did use the method I did to make myself tired I would not fall asleep until around the same time as I did last night. I have to get up at 5:30 am to get ready for work on Monday.

The method I used this time was 4 generic benidryl & 2 beers. I am really drowsy right now. I should have no problem falling asleep tonight. I took the 4 pills & drank a beer around & when I came in from working on the "honey do list" I have. Went to the store, ate dinner & had nother beer with dinner. I also took 4 advil because I am rather sore from working outside all afternoon.

I normally don't do this but I need plenty for rest tomorrow so I can function at work & commute home by bike. The effects will be worn off by the time I wake up tomorrow.

So good night all.

Polish the crank, lube the chain, lengthen your stem, wrap your bar, clamp your seat post, shift your gear, tighten your headset, open the quick release...

OP - you could put away the chemicals, forget about manipulating hormone levels, and use one of the two most effective sleep incudements know to mankind. CSPAN, or reading a college level math textbook. You'll be sawing logs faster than Siu could nail Phil with a roundhouse kick.

You needed to sleep like a baby. Instead, you slept like Hunter S. Thompson!!!!

Sounds like a better recipe for getting stoned than feeling rested. I'd do what everyone has lovingly described already (), and read. If you'd only ended up with 6 hours sleep, I'd wager that you'd feel just a rested as 8 hours sleep after that drug barrage. YMMV, of course.

I hate using benadryl because if I take enough to put me to sleep, it makes me a zombie the next morning. Typically when I can't sleep I sit around not working and then get pissed off the next day that I was up all night and didn't get any work done.

a/c puts me to sleep I think. I think if i didn't have to have the AC on i wouldnt be so tired. or maybe it's just being really really depressed all the time that makes me tired all the time
