Yeah, but worrying about that unlikely stuff helps me to enjoy this:

mmmmmm.... tasty!

I'm pretty sure Al Qaida, the weather, and sharks are all in cahoots with the snack and fast food industries, by the way....

Oh, yeah, and this article is bull****. Of all the people I know, nobody ever mentions a fear of dieing of a shark attack, plane crash, falling to death, or a terrorist attack. Drowning and burning to death are always in the top 5, however...

Also, what the **** comprises the "Sexual behaviors" that killed 20,000 people in 2000?

The most likely causes included sexual behaviours at the bottom of the list. Hmmmm I wonder what kind of said behaviour would result in death? That's some serious S & M going on there...

You obviously don't have enough whips and garbage bags in your bedroom.

I find a lot of people's fears have to do with the modes of failure for these causes of death. Take a car, if the wheels come off, you skid. On a plane, if the wings fall off, you die. If something tragic happens to a car, there are many ways in which its still survivable. In something like a plane or submarine, chances are, it's either go or no go.

Oh, come on. All you have to do to survive an airplane crash is to jump right before it hits the ground.

Or was that a falling elevator.

I don't know. Same principle.

People worry needlessly about wings falling off an aeroplane.

No the thing you need to worry about is the fusalage falling off the wings.

Asphyxiation, I use to know a girl who can only climax if I "strangle" her. Too freaky for me.

As a cyclist, becoming a hood ornament is at the top of my list. Didn't make this one though. Probably because it isn't "least likely."

**** that's creepy. Waaaaay too violent. Ick ick ick. I doubt that would be the reason why so many people "die" from sexual behaviours though. I can't imagine that being a common fetish.

Yeah, apparently people don't find "reasonable" sex good enough anymroe, and are into strangulation sex, and other weird stuff....there are actually people that get off on getting the crap kicked out of them...makes no sense....even less sense than what Chewbacca was doing on Endor....

Jeez. Why so judgemental. I'm almost afraid of saying what gets me off. Lets just say it involves mayonaise, calculators, and a dozen thick rubber bands...

Chuck Norris is the top six most feared, most likely causes of death. Actually, he is the only cause of death. There were others, but Chuck Norris killed them.

Nah. They're just too PC to say AIDS/HIV/STDs.

They have to be talking about AIDS and various STDs, in my estimation. Those are big globally, as opposed to asphyxiation and whatever.

Unless of course they are factoring in sex acts with Chuck Norris, in which case all bets are off.

One would think that fear of murder would be a valid concern if you are a poor, young, black male living in the inner-city here in the US.

My theory is, if for some odd reason your plane decides to plunge into the ocean, jump out with a puffy jacket, avoid being smashed by the rear stabilizer or getting sucked into the motor, then open up that jacket and slow yourself down to terminal velocity, when you're about 1 second from the water, point your toes and go in feet first. It'll be faster than a world record high dive, you'll break a few bones but you might survive.

That or a parachute would be nice.

I would think AIDS and STD's would go under the category of microbial agents. Those are what actually are the cause of death not the sexual behaviours themselves.

I'd be more worried about being a white in the inner-city.
