Yeah yahoo is down....I wanted to get hold of my bro in cali...

at first I thought that yahoo was getting crappy on my v5 client (got sick of the "upgrade" messages, and refuse to use the new verison with it's ad banner), then I tried my upgrade-spam free version of v7, and it still did not work....

Oh well, I'll just nuke some 3 day old pizza and listen to some music or something.

HEY! I don't have anybody's yahoo address! *pouts* Of course, then I'd probably be tempted to chat about bikes while I'm SUPPOSED to be working... but then, I already give into the temptation and check bike forums from work.

It's a crappy job, anyway. Maybe they'll find out and fire me.

I stay logged in (but invisible) and when I came back to my computer after a few hours, I noticed it was trying to log in. Still down it seems.

I didn't know all of you were on Yahoo messenger...maybe I should get IDs and chat with a few of my foo budZ!

    They "aimed" too low!

To be honest, I think they are ALL the same more or less. I just got used to Yahoo first. There are programs you can use to chat on any of them, like Trilliam or GAIM, if you really are a nut. I have Trillian, but only use it if I need to chat with somebody who isn't on Yahoo.

Heh... I have Gaim, and id's on Yahoo, MSN and Aim, and I also usually have IRC running in the background.

hell... it's a wonder I get ANY time in on my bike!

I noticed you mentioned using it...hence the reason for my last post in the first place.

Yahoo is still down. Did they merge with Microsoft today? That would explain the crash!!!!

    Too true.

They must have 'upgraded' all their servers to Windows ME

Windows ME - The biggest OS flop in the history of computing. I installed it on a Friday evening and removed it by Sunday afternoon of the same weekend.

Tell me about it... I've been working on computers for 17 years now... *just shakes his head*

I had someone bring me a Win ME computer the other day, wanted me to 'fix' it. Recommended the recycling bin and a new comp! (Yeah, they went and got it.)

Can't believe they used that for so long!
