The annoying things my friends do.

I have a friend who puts on a sock and a shoe and a sock and a shoe. Not a sock and a sock and a shoe and a shoe. I don't know why but it kills me everytime. And then he wears white socks pulled up to the knees with black shoes and different colored shorts. Why does this annoy me? OMG! I sound like mer--- Oh well.

What are the annoying things YOUR friends do?

along the sock category: I have a friend that will wear one sock inside out and the other one right side out. she a) doesn't notice when she is getting dressed in the morning, then b) will deny it when I point it out to her. augh!

Cussing. My friend Melissa cusses like there is no tomorrow. I mean...she looks like a toughie and acts like a toughie but she really shouldn't cuss in front of her kids like that. And it's not very lady like to boot!

My friend spends way too much time playing world of warcraft. Granted he just does it to sell profiles he builds up to idiots around the world who will pay him for them, but its still annoying.

My friends can't except that I don't want to go to church functions. They both call me multiple times before the function, and can't except the word no. If I say no, they decide they are going to come and get me. If I say "yes" or "I suppose", and don't go they call me a liar and are frustrated and pissed at me. So today I worked hard from like 12-5. I just wanted to relax. They both call me before hand, annoying the shlt outta me. Then one friend comes over to get me, f'ing emabarases the crap outta me. A whole lot of awkard conversion and 10 minutes later and I'm royally pissed. ACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

You're right, this is normally what I'd do. Cuz friends don't like hearing no for some reason. So we have to bullshlt and act like we can't decide. FECK.

You never TOLD me this was annoying to you. I could have tried to do it another way. Would shoes first and then the socks be better? <note to self> Need bigger socks. </note to self>

Pissed off rants shouldn't be held accountable for grammar.

What about the above sentence which is void of proper punctuation, or any at all?

I have a friend at work who is a little bit loose with the truth. I told him about something that happened to me once. The next week I walked into a room and overheard him telling a group the same story except that it had happened to him.

This is a repeat of an "All in the Family" skit with Archie and Meathead.

I can just imagine what my "friends" say about me:

'Like, I know this guy who rides his bike ALL THE TIME! He even gets up at 4 oclock to goto Palm Springs or Solvang to ride 100 miles! How f*^$&d up is that? He even put fenders on his bike so that he could ride in the rain. The dude has some serious problems."

Try inviting them to hang out with you at a local bar. They'd possibly find that an unfamiliar place to be in the same way that you find church functions unfamiliar and uncomfortable.

I invite friends to church stuff now and then but I can take no for an answer. I understand that people aren't necessarily rejecting me or my beliefs just because they don't like hanging out at the same places that I do.

2 things:

I am mormon as well as they are, but I've been fairly inactive. I just don't want to go to much of anything.

Also, I'm 19 so I can't go to bars

i know it's not nice, but when you tell a person no in a nice way, and you keep saying no in a nice way, but that person keeps on insisting you do w/e being nice isnt an option. Because that person doesnt get it that when some one says no, they mean NO

My friend would invite me over, then she would start calling people and not even talk to me for a second! Then she would leave the room without telling me anything.

And then she would disrespect my bikes! Shes just jealous of my realitionship with them

How old do you have to be to go to bars? 21? The age here in Australia is 18.

While that strategy may not work, I'm sure you get the idea. There are a lot of people who are so wrapped up in church culture that they don't understand anything else. They think that not wanting to go to church meetings is the same as rejecting any form of spirituality.

If your friends are more intersted in you personally than just trying to get you to church, they'll hang out with you where you feel comfortable. If their faith doesn't work outside the four walls of the church it's not worth much.

Talk in languages I do not understand. They automatically assume everyone has a mortgage and seem upset that I live in a paid-off home.
