Whooooa!

Ok-- I'll occasionally have a piece of brown toast with peanut butter and honey as a snack, usually with tea if I've had a small lunch. I usually put the peanut butter first, then the honey on top (honey seems very runny in China). My fingers end up covered in goop, and what doesn't cover my hands ends up dripping all over the plate.

Today, by mistake, I put the honey first. I'll never do it the other way again! The peanut butter seals the honey in, and I'm left with a tasty slice of toast with no gooey aftereffects. It's still blowing my mind.

Edit: Damn! Only in Foo would there be another active thread where this would be on topic. Sorry for creating a redundant thread!

Yum! Sounds good!

I like all-wheat pita bread with turkey and tomaotoes, olive oil, feta cheese, beansprouts, salt and pepper.

That sounds really good, but is less of a snack than a full-on sandwich. And I'm not sure if slathering peanut butter over all of that to keep it "sealed in" would be a good idea

Maybe I'm just jealous... of the ingredients you list, I can't buy the following from my local supermarket:
Pita bread
Turkey
Feta Cheese
Black pepper

See, what I do is just put PB on toast, then squirt a drop of honey on the place where I'm gonna bite. Lather rinse repeat.

My honey comes in big glass jars, so squeezing is difficult.

Mighty good puke, though.

jyossarian, I like the localized honey idea a lot, although I bet you end up eating way more that way.

gbcb, sealing in the honey under the peanut butter is a brilliant idea, I'm off to the toaster right now.
