Dude...who in their right mind lets tent caterpillars get that far out of control? That's crazy.

Ick, horrid flashbacks of SE Michigan during the tent caterpillar/gypsy moth epidemic of the late 70's/early 80's. I grew up with woods behind our backyard. It was awful. Those are darned aggressive bugs in those pics.

For a slideshow here
Also it says "Day the caterpillar arrived at Flogsta" in Swedish, so it didn't take long at all (would you leave your bike to get slowly taken over?)

That link is the best horror movie I've seen in a while. Talk about the willies, yuck, gross, nasty. I might have to abandon my bike (car, house, family, leg, arm, etc...) were that to happen. Where did I put the flame thrower and DDT canisters again?

When I was 12, the boy I ran with found an tent caterpillar nest just about ready to hatch, a metal garbage can, lighter fluid, and a box of matches, and only shared it with me - none of his other (i.e. boy) friends. <sigh> So romantic.
