Awwww, I wuv kitties!

One of my roomies is going to be keeping a kitten for a week to give to his girlfriend or something. I love kitties! It's so cute, and I'm gonna be sad when it has to leave. He (or she, not sure right now ) is about 3 weeks old and is a tiny little ball of fur!

They are great for tearing up your chairs or couch.
They are also superb at leaving scratches from their claws on cars.
They are good at peeing on wheels too.

What a joy

If it wasn't for all that, they aren't bad at all.

hrn, my cat does none of those things.... it sleeps a lot, kills the odd bird, then comes back in to eat, and sleep a little more.

Then you could be lucky to one of those people who's significant other has a cat and has to have an indoor cat box.

Oh yea nothing like the smell of cat **** in your house.

Kittens have to be cute otherwise we'd eat 'em.

Philthee, Thunderhead suggests that your girlfriend has not been properly trained by her cat. With the right litter and acceptable cleaning schedules, an indoor box will not smell.

I remember when my cats were little kittens. They were back then as big as their current heads. They couldn't even run the whole length of the house and did all they could to simply stand and vibrate. Later, they would try to run across the floor and make it about halfway before they got too tired and fell asleep midstride. As a matter of fact, they fell asleep a lot midway through performing some random activity. Here are Cocoa and Toffee (you can probably guess which is which) when they were around two months old.

Post your kitten pictures up on Kittenwar.

Wonderful creatures, kittens. They begin life as the coolest, sweetest thing to walk the planet, then grow into a worthless piece of fur. It would be ideal if they would just stay kittens

Cheers,

Brian

I wonder when we can let the kittens roam the house. We only keep the kittens in the kitchen and laundry room, because if they roamed the house they would most likly scratch up the carpet, my moms chase, the couch, and anyother fiberish thing.

You forgot the **** and piss stains on the carpet.
The stench that fills the whole house permeating the walls, never to ever be removed. The fur that ends up being found everywhere.

Cats are cute but they belong outside. Not on your bed.
