Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

I knew from the start, when someone refers to you as "dear" in thier very first exchange with you, it is usually a sign of trying to get back in control.. a way to talk by calling you something very familiar as if they had known you for a long time or as if they are crossing that familiarity boundary withought your conscent, sort of letting you know who is in control here... that was my indication to me that it wouldnt be so simple for him to let someone take over his control, which is part of sexual haressment. which is why Im not buying this.

Red House, if you have said no two or three times then yes you are being sexually harrassed. From what I have read, you do not care about sexual harrassment. If your company has no fraternization policies, then you are free to date off work at your own risk.

Ritehsedad, I just completed and passed my yearly state of IL. sexual harrassment test. Now I have to do the state ethics test.

okay.. but I'm not trying to 'sell' you anything? -?..Yes, anyways.. my sincerest apologies for sounding condescending in the manner I addressed you. Referring to a woman as ''dear'' is a sign of respect the way I was brought up.. but I am aware it sounded quite otherwise, in that context.. Thankyou kindly for all your thoughts/advise..

"ma'am" is usually a safe bet... if you're more cozy, then "daHhhhhling" is fine.

Ild say no, leave it alone. You dont know what your messing with if you cheat with a married person. The husband may go nuts if he ever finds out, and you may be imprisoned in his basement for the rest of your life eating his wifes dead flesh for dinner while he tortures you.

'Madame' -ms. Blonduathlongrl.. You seem to me to resent-(?) that 'I', a man, may not be comfortable giving up the appearance of 'control' ? ..But I think you should ask 'who' would like the feeling that they could lose control of any situation that they are a part of? ..It's always a more comfortable position to feel in command of yourself and your immediate surroundings, than to feel dominated under the influence of another person. This seems like basic common sense, human nature?.. You wanted a 'serious' reply? .. okay

I dont resent you, rest to peace.. just not sure I took your statement of being sexually haressed too seriously.. but what do I know, if i was sexually haressed I wouldnt put it on foo to be discussed, I would take a very serious matter in to hands and discuss it with my lawyer, but hey! that's just me!

I believe that the only person you can control is yourself, not necessarily the destination of where you are heading. The result of said destination is greatly affected by an action that can also be used to either hinder or excel it's movement but not have to become the presented conclusion. That is why we are so involved with weighing out the pros and cons before we make our decisions.

I trust there have been a few times that we have had results different from the intention.

I think this co-worker has a head full of bad wires.
I think you would be the justification for her divorce and
that you are asking for a world of hurt if you choose to accept
her offer. And I don't just mean her husband, I think you would be
wise to take Siu's initial advice, cool it till she's divorced and then
see if the offer still stands (which I would bet even money on that it won't).
