Today's tip: Don't hug a panda.

I love that he bit the panda back:

Wow, he fought with the panda for 15 minutes, and only had a few bite wounds on his legs. He must have some crazy panda-fighting skillz...

What the snap? youtube is slacking on this one.

I doubt it's mad panda fighting skills. I think the panda just spent 15 minutes roughing him up a little bit. Da godfadda knows, if you teacha da lesson too quickly, it don't sink in so good.

Update from the Chinese news: The guy had about four pints of beer before jumping the fence, and has two kids: A girl (9) and a boy (7). His wife's real age is 35, but her ID claims that she is 29. Curious.

I don't think stupidity is confined to China alone. And neither is beer...

Crazy is certainly the word. You'll think you've got a pretty firm grip on your understanding of this place, then something will come out of left field and remind you that you know absolutely nothing. Also, any country with 1.3 billion people will have a hell of a lot of total wackos.

Edit: Your brother's here? Cool! What does he do, if you don't mind my asking?

Hey! Here we go! It's not the video we were all hoping for, but it's a panda going crazy and ripping off a guy's jacket: http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/yjQtgXBp2eU/

You can't blame the panda. A drunk guy walks into your house and tries to hug you while taking a nap? I know Michigander would shoot him. Me? I'd punch him in the nutz and call the police.
