I thought I'd written the story up once already, but all I can find is this, and that's not the story.

Ha! I found it!

Now I can die in peace, knowing the truth. I've been trying to decipher this from day one.

Oh, and gbcb, your explanation is appreciated too. Another cipher solved. As for the synesthesia, the most powerful connection is sounds and colors/shapes. So music and language are very powerful to me, as well as paintings. It's pretty much the only way I can interpret the world. Due to my other condition, social cliques and chats freak me out.

If that is shyt, then I'm a bear on a motorcycle.

Your guitar is worth more than two or three of your bikes, and those bikes aren't cheap!

For some reason I wanted to have digital and the number 9 for a web site and when digital9 was taken I chose digital39. I realized later that if you looped through the alphabet, the 39th letter would be an M, my last name is Manis so DIGITAL39 in some ways is DIGITALM, just sorta started using it.

For those who've never played StarCraft, look away now...

I'm a modder for StarCraft, or used to be. As part of the extended mythos, I'd been trying to write in the High/Dark Templar reconvergence, because I had been unhappy with the rush-job Blizzard had done with the storyline. Falanx is the hidden and (almost) forgotten son of the Prooss hero Fenix. At the age of fifteen he'd been sent away to the farthest reaches of the galaxy to study under and live with the Venatir tribe - the last, unfound tribe of the exiled Dark Templar. The Dark Templar in their

Fenix only knew of them because he was descended from the legendary, historical hero Adun, and their whereabouts had been entrusted to his line. This was passed on to Falanx and he was to be the one responsible for returning them to the Protoss fold.

The hero Tassadar had discovered another, less well-hidden sect of the Dark Templar and had done in a few short years the basic of what he taken Falanx two hundred years to master. During the great war on Aiur, the Protoss homeworld, Tassadar managed to successfully use the tools of both peoples to defeat the Overmind of the Zerg invaders.

But it was not enough, and now, with his father and whole family dead, Falanx returns to his people at their darkest hour, with the Venatir in his wake and new skills never before seen in even Protoss to take back their home... He is very much the son of his father.

And I think that's what made the handle stick...

Since nobody was probably industrious enough to click the link to my website where I explain the name, I'll repost the little story here.
---------------

The story behind KingTermite....

The first question I generally get is, "Where in the world did you come up with KingTermite?". Well....believe it or not, there is a story behind it...I didn't just choose the name at random to sound funny.

According to the story, when I was about 2 years old, my mother and grandparents were talking at the table while I was wandering around the room. They claim they only took their eyes off me for no more than a minute or two. In that time frame, I supposedly chewed the stuffing out of the cushion to a rocking chair. My grandparents immediately dubbed me "Termite" and that has been my nickname ever since.

Then around 1994 or 1995, while in college, I created my first web page. There were not as many web pages out there back then, but of the ones that were there I was disappointed that they all seemed boring and similar. Just for something different, I decided to give mine a theme. I ended up making the web page like a castle where each page was like a room in the castle. It was pretty cheesy, but it worked.

Then shortly after I tried to register for a Yahoo email address. I generally used Termite as my online nic for anything since it was the nickname I had gone by since I was so young. Low-and-behold, somebody had the Yahoo Id "Termite". I thought who else would go by "Termite", but me? Well, anyway...I started discovering more and more that "Termite" was not as unique as I thought. So I had to some up with a new online nic. So, I decided since I had my "castle" webpage, which I called Castle Termite, then I must be the king. Thus, KingTermite was born in cyberspace that day (circa 1995).

I think mine's pretty straightforward, and it's another relic from my "early days" online, most of which were spent on car related forums. For the record, I no longer own any Saabs. I've claimed on here that I don't really like them, but I suppose that's not true. The brand will always have a special place in my heart.

At any rate, I didn't really want to use this name again on here. I've since adopted several others, but they were all too long for the length restriction here on BF. I decided to use this one again after all. When I signed up, I'd been lurking for months and months, and never really intended to post, but sooner or later I got sucked in. . .

As many of you know, I am a dancer. It is probably one of the things I do in life that makes me the happiest. When I dance, I feel free and alive...I can loose myself in a rhythm and the whole world can disappear and it is just me and my body and the music. Dancers often use stage names for various reasons. I picked my dance name "Shadiyah" because it means "singer" in arabic. Singing is, and has always been one of my most favorite passions. There is nothing quite like strumming a guitar and singing a few tunes to melt the blues away. So, I thought meshing a few of my passions together seemed fitting.

I actually had another part to my name...I used to go by "Shadiyah Nawaar" Nawaar means "flower or blossom" which I felt tied me to my real name which is Heather. Actually I don't really use either of my dance names anymore. I still like them both, but now I am starting to wonder if it's really necessary to go by a different stage name. Still working on that one.

So, there it is.

CyLowe is a bastidgation of Psy_Lo, which was shortened from Psycho Loco. Psycho Loco was the neighborhood gangsta who looked out for the main character Gunnar Kauffman in Paul Beatty's incredibly funny and intelligent mid-90's masterpiece The White Boy Shuffle.

Psycho Loco's telling of how he came to steal the safe from the local Montgomery Ward during the riots of 1992 is one of the funniest five pages in all of literature. Oh man. Now I'm going to have to re-read the book!

The 97 is irrelavent at this point.

Mariner fan is my moniker in the baseball blogs. I figured it would be easier to just keep the same name. Yes, I'm a fan of the Seattle Mariners, yes they suck, but like they say in baseball, there is always next year!
