Something a little different about you.

I have the Asian curse. I don't have to shave. And I don't sweat either. Only when I'm really really sick. Oops. TMI. Oh well.

What's different about you?

I can still recite most of the stuff I memorized in grammar school, including a long list of English prepositions. (That'll keep them ROTFL if I'm ever put in a concentration camp.)

Oklahoma is the only one of the fifty US states I have never visited.

I have nine toes altogether.

and...

I'm very hairy and sweat at the slightest provocation, particularly now that I'm using a drug that causes me to sweat even more. It's one of the reasons I like to bike and swim for exercise: they're both self-cooling.

Surely that wouldn't only be different if you weren't actually Asian?

Hmmmm....what is "different" about me?

Most other tech geek engineer types me haven't read much....but everybody who knows me calls me "very well read". I guess I read a lot when I was younger, especially the classics (poetry too).

I can't memorize words or anything normal, but I'm semi-decent at remembering numbers, like my drivers license or a quick phone number.

I used to be what some what call a "holy roller". I'm not anymore.....in fact, Sunday morning is my bike riding day (for the long ride), not church day anymore. I still respect people who are strong in their faith though.

I adore dry and sarcastic humor, which tends to be closer to my own style most times and....my family has NEVER understood me because of it. Additionally, because of it, I've NEVER fit in with my family. I feel like a fish out of water at family gatherings.

Most of my friends hate going to the movies with me because they say I'm a "movie critic". I am the guy who walks out of a movie and is talking about all the little inconsistencies in the story.

I am often VERY observant. I notice little things about people everywhere, their house if I'm there, etc... It can be a real curse at times.

- 'different' as in physiological?

- how about a prehensile tail?

Hmmmm, there's the obvious difference, I've lost more weight recently then almost any two people weigh!

I'm a 46 year old college student.

I like to ride my bicycle insanely long distances in a day!

Ill stick up for anyone that people gang up againts, I always root for the underdog.
I can retain informations, memorise just about everything for a very long time, details, conversations, facts, anything..
I just saw a guy at work and placed him as far as 1989 and told him what he was doing my my work buidling at the time, he wondered how he made such an impression on me, he didnt... I just memorise things and people a little too much, almost a curse!

Hold on hold on,
I thought women didn't sweat.
I thought horses sweat, men perspire, and women glissen.

I am the only person I have ever met who actually DID use old Sears Roebuck catalogues for toilet paper in our two-holer outhouse back in Sunfish, Kentucky.

I'm a pro gun vegetarian who doesn't believe in eating processed meats, but has no problem with subsistence hunting (I don't hunt anymore though).

I'm one of the more liberal people I know who serve in the Army.

I'm almost always happy, if not at least content.

When I'm IMing people I often times end up typing parts of code in their window anbd it never dawns on me until after I have to hit enter why I wasn't seeing anything appear on the monitor / window it was supposed to. I also do the exact opposite and type IM in code windows too. Wonder why somebody didn't rotflol at something i said, go to build and be like WTF errros. WHAT DO U MEAN I HAVE ERRORS. Hey what the heck is that doing in my code.
