how do I post pics?

I know this has probably been posted before. I did a search and found nothing. How do I do it? Do put them on a host site and then use html? Sorry for being lame and thanks for helping.

Putting them on a host site and using html is one way. Attaching them to your post is another, but requires that they're under 100 kilobytes in filesize.

For example, if you had a pic at http://www.site-name(dot)net/~craigery/bike.jpg, then to put it right into your post, just surround that URL with {img** and {/img**, except use square brackets instead of curly ones. The photo will show up in line.

Example: http://www.mechbgon.com/chblink.gif is my avatar. If I add the {img** and {/img** tags (with square brackets) before and after that URL, I get... -->

yeah, like this:

the address has gotta be a jpg or gif, or whatever.....I think

you can get the picture urls off web photos by 'right' clicking on the pic, then copying the jpg or gif address.
