Am I white trash?

My wife took my five year old shopping yesterday. One of the items on the list was a halloween costume for him. He found one, which leads to the title of this post. Wade will be trick or treating this year as Nascar driver Jeff Gordon!!! I wonder how many people will see the outfit and drop a beer or cigarettes in his bag? So, if your son dresses as a Nascar driver for halloween, or any other occasion, does that make you white trash?

If I tell you the answer, it will be less meaningful to you. If you truly want to understand, go sit on the couch on your front porch and contemplate the question.

I am afraid to let him run. What if he gets a little loose coming out of turn 4, gets into the marbles and stuffs it into a wall?

Nah. You don't strike me at all as white trash. White Trash is just that, trash.

Unless, of course, you're using meth, throw your garbage in the neighbor's yard, are stealing said neighbor's cable, live off government hand-outs, drink Natural Light, think that anyone who doesn't drink Natural Light is stuck up, hate ****, thinks that a guy who doesn't cheat on the woman he beats on a nearly daily basis is a ***, use the phrase "glass parking lot", are on your 4th DUI, are on your 2nd kid with your 17 year old girlfriend who you cheat on because you ain't no ***. I could go on.

jsharr - you already know the answer is no. Keep an eye on that lad of yours though, if he shows signs of NASCAR fixation after the age of 10, you might need to take some action.
