Renaming Advocacy & Safety Forum

I'd like to suggest the Advocacy and Safety forum name be changed to: Stories of the Dead & Bike Lane Arguments.

You could keep the A&S initials by going with Annihilationists and Set-To postings forum

I'd rename it, P&R Lite - The same amount of arguing, but at least it's bike related!

It should be renamed "Helmet Head's anti bike lane pulpit and VC® emporium"

I'd suggest you go to the "Get a Clue" forum or the "No Sense of Humor" forum. This is not a serious post if I need to break it down for ya that far.

I made the mistake of going over there once or twice when I first got on BF. Worthless.

How about the "100% of People Who Drink From Plastic Bottles DIE!!! (eventually)" forum?

And in the interest of fair play, I wonder what they would rename the Foo Forum? The "People Entirely Too Care-Free and Light-Hearted for Their Own Good" Forum?

Ha! Making with the humour humour. This is very much being funny, funny man. <chuckle chuckle>

Something tells me you posted this in Foo because you'd get torn a new one posting it in the A&S forum....

...Or has one already been torn for you there and you feel you needed to slight the A&S regulars in a different sub-forum?

Just wonderin'...

See, just the mention of A&S gets folks to tearing out each other's throats.

It should be renamed "Helmet Head vs. I-Like-To-Bike"
or "Let me tell you exactly what will happen after Peak Oil because I have a Cassandra-Complex"
or "Ain't Castro Great? (Hey, why did you move my thread?)"
or "I'd like to start the 39,648th thread about Critical Mass."
or "I'd like to talk pedantically about how we do it in Canada."
or "What was this 10 year old doing wrong that got her killed?"
or "China is Utopia because people ride bikes there."
or "I just invented an important sounding name for looking backwards over your shoulder."

I can't think of anymore just now....
