Which would you be without?

If there were a government mandate that stated that everyone had to eliminate one of the following from there home by Jan. 1 2007, which would it be?

BTW, I forgot to mention that punishment for failure to comply would be waterboarding with George W. Bush or a hunting trip with Dick Cheney. Keep that in mind.

Gasoline powered vehicle. Who needs cars when you have a bike?

I voted for the car too, but it wouldn't be a slam dunk. My spouse and I both need a car for our work, and it would be tough to manage with just one. But i voted for automobile anyway, thinking i could somehow find a way to make it work.

I don't mind a little smart comprimise. I'm for changing our fuel policy with a personal sacrifice. No problemas.

I voted one (1) gas-powered vehicle, and I don't mean the lawnmower.

I voted the gas powered vehicle as well. I could care less about the van other than occasionally needing it for OOT trips for Dr Appts. If Amtrak had a reasonable bike policy on our route, it wouldn't be an issue anymore though! I could grab the Amtrak to Indy and ride from the Amtrak station out to Carmel!

just one? like i can keep any more than that one i get rid of?

if it's just ditch one, i'd be good with the gas-powered vehicle, refrigerator, hot water heater or bicycle.

if i have to cut down to one, i'd go with the hot water heater.

None, the "punishments" actually sound quite fun. In all seriousness, I wouldn't mind chillin' with Bush or hunting with Cheney.

But if I had to choose one of the options, it'd probably be one bicycle. I got a couple layin around I could do without.

So I'd get the chance to take shot at Cheney?

Now that's what the 2nd amendment is about.

So if I don't already have a TV, gasoline-powered vehicle, spouse, or kids, would the government be satisfied, or do I have to choose something I do have?

I voted car. But in reality I only have one car and need it. I've got a bunch of old expendable beaters I could easily live without.

I'd get rid of the car...only because I love my Comedy Central, History Channel, and Discovery Channel (sans Lance).

I don't think Bush would go waterboarding with me...I'm too brown to be in his circle of friends...

not married, no kids (although if I had kids I would burn the world to the ground before I would let someone take them), I have a junker bicycle I would not miss, same goes for my truck. They can have more than one.
