Ok, now here is a new one.

Now that Halloween is over. It is time to get that turkey or whatever and overeat. All of us do it in one way or another. How about some of those best Thanksgiving stories? The worst will do also. Mine is just a few words.

Tom and I go the north to the Lake and spend time with his family. It is just not his family. It is a bloomin' crowd seen. But Tom loves it and that is all that matters. I am just not into the crowd seen. Sorry.

Now let me know all of your stories. Yes, we do take the bikes and ride as much as possible. We have 5 days off from school, then. That is a strong and loud YIPPEE!!!!!!!

Before I write another book. I better go.

Bye for now.

My best thanksgivings were spent during university with a friend in Ottawa and his entire family. That's something my family's never really been able to do, being spread all over the world. I really felt like part of the clan, with all the friendly abuse that that entails. No particular stories -- though the way they all rallied behind my joke campaign for student council president was remarkable -- but it was always fun.

All I have to say, is that I will enjoy this Thanksgiving season immensely for two reasons:

1. I turn 50. I'm celebrating by taking the Scouts in my troop on a 50 mile bike ride. We've been training for the last few months.

2. I will have been cancer-free for three years. I will be able to donate blood again.

I take the small victories where ever I can!

People in Canada celebrate Thanksgiving? Hmmm, I guess that's ok. Nothing exciting ever happened to me on Thanksgiving, just eating lots of good home cooked food! I think my parents said they were going to be ordering a big specialty ham for this year. I'm a bit skeptical, we have always eaten turkey in the past.

I lodged a Pairing(sp) knife through half my thumb (litterally) 2 thanksgivings ago. I know look like I have a second mutant thumg trying to grow out of my normal thumb.
