As long as people don't bring their arguements in here...I'm glad to see it go. Two subjects that have no place on a cycling forum anyway. Good ridance!

Go back to P&R!

j/k

If you really want to discuss that poison though, there are plenty of other places on the internet. Just be sure to come back here to talk about bikes and Foo.

I think at least 5% of the threads here are marginally related to bikes, so I guess that's OK.

As far as I am currently aware, it was related to the forum crash yesterday and not a forum content decision. See the thread(s) in the User Assistance & Suggestions forum for what details we currently have.

Thanks SBW.

To P&R regulars coming through to post in thread: keep it clean, within community guidelines, else it will be deleted. There is a thread in User Assistance and Suggestions about P&R, updates will likely be posted there as they become avaliable.

And no joking!

Those making jokes or other so called "humor" related posts will be cast out.

We run a clean, family oriented forum here. (I tell you, you let a couple of those P&R guys loose and there goes the neighborhood.)

love the way you basically assume "P&R regulars" need to be talked down to

now I remember why PnR is basically the only forum I read

rather than worry about people squabbling in PnR, you should actually prune and moderate other forums (the road cycling forum is absolutely WORTHLESS, and has been for 18 months now. if you created a "new to road cycling" forum you'd eliminate 90% of the crap threads [ie "I think one of my pedals is stripped, it won't won't tighten when I turn it clockwise"])

btw, props to [165] for making ss/fixie more organized

The road forums of course, there are plenty of people in there ready and willing to argue about things that don't matter- Like politics and religion. (just kidding )

The rumor has it that it was a post in P&R that melted down the forum yesterday... sort of like a nuclear meltdown and threatened to take all of BF with it.

Not that anyone could imagine such a thing...

I just read your (deleted) thread, but haven't had a chance to check out your thread in the road forum. I know I would absolutely love to have a nice pair of Zipp's however I'm not willing to take that much cash out of savings. I have a pair of Spinergy Stealth PBO's and I love them. They are not nearly as light as Zipp's but they ride great and I can really tell a difference with them when in a hurry. I even like them on climbs which is hard to believe since they are so heavy.
