2006 Foo Rigs Only

A bunch of us got or built new (at least to us) bikes this year - thought it would be fun to have a thread with ONLY those new rigs! Refurbs are OK too

Since I started riding again this year all my rigs are new to me except for my mtb which I did a bunch of stuff to.

Here's my Downtube folder and my mtb (halfway to being refurbed there) hanging out at the Savoy:

My mtb as it is now minus new al cranks:

My Russian folding bike - 44 pounds of steel:

And my new Nishiki Sport that my friend's old roommate left behind (pre-furbed):

It's getting a bunch of upgrades come January 2nd or so

Tom? Siu? Pheard? Others?

Then bought the new snow bike a few weeks ago:

This is my Flyte build. You guys are lucky, most people only see a cloud of dust and the back tire.

Not bad, considering the studded tires. I didn't like the ride of the stock Vittoria Randoneur Xcross tires that came on it at all, made it feel really slow and sluggish, I think the Klondikes roll better even with the studs!

Yeah - it wasn't much of a problem for me to carry around but it was funny watching others try to lift it I had a lot of stairs to climb and the folding takes longer then newer designs with QR.

And Tom, I know, I know! One day - have to get the bike going first even if it means just sitting on the seatpost for a while
