Remember 2000 and all the gloom and doom predictions? My father-in-law was visiting relatives for New Years 2000. About a minute before midnight he snuck out the the breaker box for the house. At the stroke of midnight he cut power to the house. He said you could hear a pin drop!

I remember when I first heard, I was thinking it made sense. Some areas would have issues....

then the media got hold of it...haha..gotta love the media. NOT!

Man, Dick Clark rocks. He has worked hard to overcome his stroke, and I'm just amazed to see him back at work, especially after last year, where it was a real struggle for him to speak. As long as he's around on NY's Eve, all is right with the world.
