This is bugging me

This is bugging me.
I have a sty ( correct spelling?) in my eye. Ok so no biggie, but then my face was swelled up, the right side of it and was numb so I checked with the doc, who asked if I had a tooth ache ect, she really didnt relate the sty with my face being stiffed, a bit numb and swelled up.
She put me on an antibitic, one week later, my sty is not so big but the right side of my face is still numb.
Im starting to worry, but I shouldnt be since she didnt seem so worried right?

Seriuosly, BDG, if the stye has lasted for more than three days see an Ophthalmologist or return to the doctor. Better to be safe than sorry.

yes that's what they said it was...
i thought the swelling of my right cheek was caused by it and the numbness was because of the swelling, it'snot swelled up anymore but my check and nose are numb. maybe it's the infection travelling?

This isn't something to mess around with, there are some big nerves on the side of the face which control the mouth and I think lower jaw. If there is sufficient swelling (i.e., pus) pressing on the nerves then that may be the cause of the numbness. NOTE: I am NOT a doctor, I just had a really bad chalazion once.

You should have x-rays done. It could still be an infection in your gums causing it.

Or a cockroach laid some eggs under your skin...
