It sounds like "were going to celebrate something to me" and "I keep my thoughts to"...and the chorus sounds like "what has God done to you [me?]" and "where you are"?

If I get something substantial, I can google it.

Sorry , not a clue. But what with these two? The guy has a cutie on his lap who seems to be asking for some, ahem, attention, and he just sits nodding his head. Then she sticks her finger in his eye, and he just sits there? Oooooo, the synapsis aren't exactly fully engaged here, are they?

Let this be a warning to you, kids - stay away from the killer weed, or you'll end up like the guy in the video, not getting any and with your girlfriend's finger in your eye.

ran it by my bro who can usually pull lyrics out of anything but he got nothing. He suggested maybe something like 30 seconds to mars.

I'm sorry. Was there music, and lyrics, here? I just saw some poor schmuck stoned out of his mind, and a chick who was willing, but no doubt, rather disappointed. <quizzical, single-eyebrow-up Vega look>

Why do you people assume he was stoned? I act like weird like that all the time, and I'm not high (to the best of my knowledge).

Goo Goo Dolls

It's over

And I didn't think about
All the ways I hurt you and myself
And I hide
Wouldn't say a thing to you
I keep it to myself and my mind
I can't stand without you
And I won't find the answers when you're gone

But it's over to you
And I can't find the answers when you're gone

And it's over to you
And you can't find the answer where you are

(this is the part that sounded to me like "the edge of where you are")

And you know
(And you know)
I need you now
This ain't easy to admit
And no one needs to know
What goes on behind the door in my room
I'm peeking through the walls in my mind
And I can't stand without you
I won't find the answers when you're gone

But it's over to you
And I can't find the answers when you're gone
And it's over to you
And you can't find the answers where you are

I will tear you down
I will tear you down
To get into the world you wanted
I'm kicking through the wall
No one can believe in things that never change

[Chorus]

And it's over to you
And I can't find the answers when you're gone

And I can't find the answers when you're gone
And I can't find the answers when you're gone

because that's generally how stoned people act There is a difference between acting weird and being stoned. They are pretty easy to spot, even when they are not as stoned as him.

It's an interesting story...I googled the phrase I thought I heard: "the edge of where you are", and I got a hit on a page for "misheard lyrics" that led to the actual lyric: "the answer where you are" - and song and artist.

Hm. Remember these heady days of being able to wait, cooker.

Not my personal experience, but I've seen this. So, when you are in your 60's, remember the wise words of Vega, who will be long-gone by then....
