Ah, fuggedaboutit.

Nones of us kin afford to just keep that stuff in a garage. And if we wanted to drive it around, who could afford the insurance? <sigh>

Heh, heh. At the risk of bein' a real party pooper (and y'all so know that Vega do love a PAR-TAY), I'm just being real.

*pop* pssssssshhhhht.

Honestly, I found myself thinking, "is that all?"

I'd rather see Seinfeld's garage.

Big Pimpin

Funny, I don't think in all my years I ever saw a shot of the McLaren's engine compartment. I don't think I'd forget those big CF air boxes.

If we were multi-million aires I guess we could have those toys. However, I keep it simple and get toys I can afford which essentially to someone without any money and may be a bum, says to his hobo friends.......look at his toys and that Litespeed bike is the bomb!

Gee, I wonder how much it would cost to change a timing-belt or water-pump on that monster... probably more than the entire cars most of us drive..

A simple timing belt's around 10 grand, the water pump, 30.
I remember a while ago mr.bean (yes mr. bean) had a burgundy mclaren f1 that had a little fender bender and required the front hood and fender replaced, that was like 80 or 90 grand.

Insurance? Hell, who could afford a down payment on a month's worth of gas for it?

I figure I'd rather build a Corvette to do what I wanted. Its not like you couldn't blow that thing away with a super pumped up Mustang. Its done all the time by red neck gear heads nation wide at drag strips. Sure it handles better and has a warranty, but for how much that damn thing costs I can blow out and repair a faster on the drag strip muscle car.

I don't think anyone buys one of these to go straight really fast, although it does hit about 240mph seating 3 comfortably.

Besides, if I wanted to go straight really fast, I can just strap a couple of solid fueled motors to any cheap car.
