Does anyone use bottled water coolers?

We don't like the water that comes out of the tap here and decided to buy a bottled water cooler. I went to Culligan and they want $285 bucks for one. I can get one at Lowes for around $100 bucks. Do any of you use these and can you recommend one brand over another?

I just thought I would throw this out here in Foo for some free advice.

To be honest, I can't tell the difference between them.

I use to buy DeepRock Water. I had a cooler, and I loved it. It was like only $15.00 or so a month.

That was for water and the cooler too. Its been some years but if I was you I would buy my own cooler.

My water at home is triple filtered..............once at the well pump.............then into the garage through another sediment filter..............then through the fridge with a filter for sediment and other harmful things. Kinda hard to get it filtered anymore. I probably have cleaner water the that Fuji crap for $5 a pint!

Get an under-sink RO unit installed with a seperate faucet. $100 - $200 for the initial equipment, and maybe $20 a year in replacement filters.

We are going for the Cooler. Now we will be able to stand around it and back stab our coworkers!

We got one at Home Depot a while ago.

As far as the water is concerned, we buy the $.50/gallon store brand at the supermarket and refill the jug. I like the store brand better than Poland Springs (which is no longer spring water and 90% is not from Poland, Maine anymore).

Tap water for me. My diet is quite healthy, but not so healthy that I think bottled water would make any form of difference. If I want cold water, I go to my freezer and grab some ice.

Try searching around online for some, that may help. I don't drink tap water at home. My fridge water goes through 2 filters before ice is made or water is even used. My sink(kitchen) has a Pure filter adapter on it, so water is nice and clean.
