Need help with Spinning slide show...

I teach several Spinning classes each week and I was thinking of how cool it would be to create a slide show with music that I could project on the wall so people in the class could see. Are there good programs for creating such show? I might even like to use some live action as well. If any of you have created something like this I would appreciate any advice.

iDVD if you have a Mac. I think there's a limit of how many pictures you can use though.

Sounds like a simple Powerpoint slide show would do the trick, too.

Create slides with the pictures you want (or video, but there's better options if you want video), pick your music, set and rehearse the timing and voila.

If you work out of iPhoto you can export your slideshow as a Quicktime. No restriction on the number of photos. Then import the QuickTime into iMovie to produce the 'film' and iDVD to burn it.

I did that once by imprting the slideshow Quicktime and then laying the soundtrack in iMovie.

Screenshots of the power points make great high res images pasted into a photo program and imported into moviemaker, by the way and the transitions and filters available are pretty cool in moviemaker .

Don't let Bill Gates find that you're "monkeying around" with his stuff.
