    ERRRRG! Cheap fluorescent fixture woes!

So, I went to Lowes and got a fluorescent fixture to go under a shelf. It has the switch and all, yay. well, I pull it out and the first thing I notice is it has just a little transformer and a starter balast. I figure, why not. Well, this thing is ****ing flickering and buzzing. Cheap piece of crap. I have to have it on a lot too, because it's for my indoor plants. I don't think I can return it, either. ARGH frustration!

This light is for a basil plant and a rosemary plant.

I have two other ones. I used one that is a spare. The other ones are for a fern a desk plant, and two cacti.

Must be like the compact flourescents that are supposed to last 7 years. I bought a bunch of them (not sure why) and i already had two crap out in less that 6 weeks.

There's no reason you shouldn't be able to return the light as long as you have the receipt.
