Should I pack or go for a ride?

I have to be at the airport in three hours, for a five day trip. I have not packed. There is also the little issue of dirty dishes and an overflowing trash can (with raw onions from last night's so-called dinner).

I've been recovering from a strained knee for about three weeks, but rode ten miles yesterday without incident, on my new (to me) 1989 Trek 1500.

So...should I go for another ride this morning, and pack like a madman when I get back, or should I give the knee a break, pack slowly and deliberately, and take out the trash before the cab gets here?

What are the upsides / downsides either way?

I shall go put on a pot of coffee and await the legendary Wisdom of the Foo.

OHhhhhhhhhhhhh

I would say you better be good and take care of your chores real fast and then maybe....juuuuust maybe....(sneak in a little ride!)

That way it would be guilt free.

.......and Welcome to Foo, Digital Gee. I've seen you over in the 50's forum. I sneak over there every once in a blue moon but not quite fitting the criteria to really be there.

Oooooooooh yes I did. And thank you kind sir!

Oh and...Please call me Siu. You may have seen me before as Siu Blue Wind? Either way, Siu is still my name! SoS makes me feel like....like a scrubbie pad or something. And plus there already is an original SoS, SunofSand.

Well, I packed and tossed out the trash.

And now it's raining.

My knee is probably thankful.

I think you should keep soaking up the wisdom of Foo for the nex three hours and and miss your plane. Then ride your bike for the next five days. I'm always happy to help, Dee Gee.

Don't cycle, pack, clean up and then rest a bit
