Not only does it look like a blast, but looking at past results, it looks like it was not a very highly contested event. Sure, the overall winner was fast, but the pace seemed to drop off pretty quickly. Heck, I might WIN something in some category for once!

Sugar in the tank - the great equalizer!
"Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government -- and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws" - Edward Abbey

Where do you see that there's driving a Porsche as part of the race? It says run-bike-run-bike-run.

The entire day is Porsche racing, the du is in the evening. Hence, you get to *watch* Porsche all day, then run and bike.

Sure, but being on the East Coast, I feel obliged to tout local tracks. I've been to (and driven at) the Glen a bunch of times, biking on it will be awesome. I bet it's gonna be weird being on such wide pavement though, I'm used to little teeny country roads.
