i've not been to Mardi Gras in NOLA, but i've been to it several times in Galveston.

i'll be in NOLA this year, though. hard to say no to an invitation to the Bacchus Rendevouz and free veiwing stand tickets for the Saturday parades.

i really want to make it to Carnevale in Venice some year.

two years in a row I let my girlfriend drag me down to that pukefest
horrible, aweful, disgusting
though those three words usually describe my favourite things, they do not in the case
Muddy-Gragh just isn't worth the time unless you are an underage college kid

now anyone who has experienced carnival in the spanish main, oooh mama, now that's a party
