Free Carbo Load Today!

I work for IHOP Corp., and I just wanted to be sure I spread the word that today is National Pancake Day. You can read all about it here: http://www.ihop.com/tellafriend.php. But bascially, ALL DAY, you can go to any IHOP and you get a free short stack of buttermilk pancackes (and they are mighty delicious!). If you want, you may also donate to a very worthy charity.

So, those of you out cycling today who want a little carb before or after, go enjoy! Or even if you are not riding, pancakes are good for the soul. Might I suggest that you also try our Cinn-A-Stacks while you are there or on a near future visit...

Walnut Creek, Heather Farms Park. Lots of paved and dirt trails spring off from there.

We had free pancakes here where I work too. For "Fat Tuesday" or "Shrove Tuesday" or "Pancake Day"...or whatever the heck you want to call it.

I had pancakes today, but not at IHOP.

Sorry, merider1. I hope your job isn't in jeopardy if BF enough people don't show up.

I love pancakes but I have BIG issues with IHOP right now!!!!!
Last two time I've been there, they have had the "All you can eat pancake" deal. So I order it, and I get my breakfast with two tiny pancake and the waitress NEVER came back to see if I wanted more. I figure it's a scam, they must tell the staff not to go back and see if the customers want more.

Generally, that's an individual store fluke. The IHOPs I have frequented offer the first round. I then ask for more as soon as the waitress comes back. Sorry you had that happen.

When I was in the USA I really liked IHOP - good food, good service.

Got to tell you a funny one about living here. When I was in the USA, I would prefer to starve than go to a Dennys - didn't like the food, service, etc.

Enter Costa Rica. There are two Dennys that I know of here - and anytime I am in the Central Valley - I tend to make a point of going there. They are like a fine restaurant - really nice, excellent food service, etc.

It reminds me of that movie, Demolation Man, where Taco Bell becomes an elegant restaurant. Life is so bizarre here sometimes...
