^ The view out my window at 8:00am this morning. City workers moving snow so the power company could **** around with more stuff outside our house. Who wants to come visit me?

Thanks, Pheard.

I'm probably not the biggest ocean fan here, but I appreciate the thought.

Sorry, Taerom. I like Pheard's offer better.

Anyone offering any mountain riding this summer?

If you look in the last picture the mountains in the far left, that's montara. You can see rain clouds brewing over them.

and to think I used to play in that water right there by the peer.

You're invited too. But the original offer was to someone who's a little more feminine, and cuter.

I still got more ...

I have a snow base of 120inches n the mountain and at least 8 ft in the village.

I don't hate pink people...I just hate pink on people. Even girls. It gauges my eyes like ice picks.

Well, if you have to have snow, I guess that's the way to go!

Thanks, baybuh. That's so sweet. And they are lovely photos. Now that they finally loaded on, yes, go ahead and say it, DIALUP. Dammit.

Jon, you don't need to entice me with a beach. I'm definitely coming out to see Siu, and we'll all hang together a bit. Maybe even get Bikingshearer to join us. A little "West Coast meets East Coast Foo Party."

By the way, my beach is just three hours from here. A bit closer than a flight to Cali. But I do look forward to seeing the area while I'm out there. I know it's beautiful.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful pics!

I dont want it. In all seriousness in my drunken state, I cantwait until it is summer all the time. This snow might mean bu $$$ for my pocket, but the stress and intensity of how busy this town is with all this snow goes against every reason I moved to whistler. Give me summer with rain and a lot of greenage and you have me captured for life. Oregon sounds perfect, but...hmmm...being an US american site I should probably stop there.

Cool! well I hope you'll do a beach jog with me. I might even give you a back rub if you make it to the top.

We were jogging and the water started splashing over the wall so I went back to get my camera and we had some fun getting wave pictures. The peer is about 20 feet tall and the waves were starting to almost touch the bottom of the peer.

Maybe if we do the beach jog, I'll see the peer. But I suspect I'll be too spellbound when I see the "pier" to continue.

Backrub allowed only if Siu is present. For my protection!

BTW, my knees don't allow long jogs anymore. Not if I'm sober. <very serious Vega look>

Siu, sistuh? Where are ya? Any comment on these plans? <concerned Vega look>

Jon....in the sake of honesty and truth in advertising, you must post more pictures of your hair to show the downside too.

I bet your knees will allow jogging if I chase you wearing pink.

It's fine that siu needs to be present, she can join in too. It can be a back rub threesome.

I'm there. Sounds like a good time. Bring a bike, VV, or we'll find one for you. But I don't wear pink - at my slowly-decreasing-but-will-always-be-a-serious-Clydesdale size, that would be a sight to rival watching "Fantasia" on acid.

Had a pink track bike many moons ago, though, looooong before fixies were the shiznit. I don't think that counts, though.
