Siu and Jon out on the town.

Ok so me and Siu decided to get together on monday and hang out.

We first met up and proceeded to drive to the asian food market. Siu needed to get some kind of plum candies(Chan Pui Moi) and I needed to get some strawberry panda cookies. Ya know, because I'm practically asian so of course I had to get the panda cookies.

After that I asked her if there were any sports stores around because I wanted to get her a knife for work. We went to REI and both ended up with a cool little knife, after we looked around.

The point of the day of course was to go test ride some roadies. We first went to mikes bikes and I test rode a trek 1500 and a giant TCR. Don't ask me the component spec because I can't remember. All in all I liked the giant ALOT better. Siu tried to get me to drop the coin on the bike right then, but I really didn't have the money to do it.

We then went to another bike shop no less than a minute down the road. We both actually test rode roadies there. She tried out a white specialized dolce elite and I test rode a specialized allez elite. Overall I think that we both didn't like the stiffness of the roadies. We were admiring the 1mm travel rubber inserts on the dolce elite. I was itching to get some air off a curb and actually tried to ride up two curbs at the end of the test ride and the curb stopped me.

Okay wait. You had the money to buy the bike in that envelope. *shakes finger at you*.

AND>>>>>>>You forgot to tell them how you showed up on an empty tank and expected to drive all over Contra Costa till I begged you to get gas. What was your reply? "Oh I have a can in the back. I ain't spending money on gas for my dad's truck!!" So we pulled into a parking lot to put in less than a gallon.

What? what are you talking about.

I was opening her knife with one of my knifes and it slipped and I almost poked her eye out.

But I had complete control of the knife the entire time. Yep. I was just testing her reflexes.

Ummmmmmm welll.

It was more like your arm flung across and the knife was VERY close to my neck. You were putting arm pressure into it, elbow out pointed toward me.

Remember when you went to open the other package how I ran outta the car?

Oh and how about the clutch concussion???

Ok Siu. Fine, so maybe I almost cut you.

But that doesn't mean I don't love you.

Thanks VV.

I liked the way the bike felt, I didn't really care how it looked.

Of course, if I was to judge a book by it's cover. I'd have to say that the orange Orbea in the shop caught my eye. It was beautiful.

Yes it did die Jon. You killed the engine by popping the clutch. Over and over again. Don't you remember that "burning" smell??
