I don't know what all the bruhaha is! I can pop a audio cd in, have WinMP rip it and put in what ever folder I want it to in less time than it takes to smoke a cigarette. I can move it to an MP3 player in less time than it took me to type this post.

It's not rocket sciience.

My CD Server doesn't take that long to rip CD's (or DVDs either... the three slot-loaders are DVD)
